Professional Organizer & Designer
Frustrated with the incredible waste she saw as a Victoria’s Secret Designer, Colleen quit her job in 2013 and created TheFullEdit , a Zero Waste Lifestyle Agency. TFE helps people organize their homes and upcycle their waste. Colleen walks clients through a purging process of unwanted items then recycles materials in “Upcyle with TheFullEdit” workshops across Miami and New York. She also resells high-quality garments, shipping items in reused packaging making TFE Miami's first zero waste apparel company. Colleen has been featured as an expert in sustainable fashion by Discover, Amex, NyMag and Nylon
To date, TFE has eliminated 4,662lbs from the waste stream, organized 14 ZeroWaste awareness events and educated over 40 businesses on how to reduce their waste. Colleen is a recipient of the PALM AWARD and brings 13 years of NYC design experience to her endeavors. Working with brands such as Victoria's Secret, Tesla, Cradle2Cradle, Pinatex, NBA, and Glamour, she seeks to educate on sustainable design thinking while reducing textile waste in fashion.
Colleen hold degrees in both Fashion Technology from Buffalo State, Textile/Surface Design from The Fashion Institute of Technology and a Professional Certificate in Sustainable Design Entrepreneurship where she's a graduate of F.I.T’s first sustainability class. As Director of Eco Fashion at DebrisFreeOceans, Colleen organizes Miami’s Annual Eco Fashion Show and Fashion Revolution events which brings mindful Miamians together to create ways of making fashion and Miami less wasteful.
